If you want to hide any webpages of your website from search engine , you can do it by using robots.txt file.
Search engine robots when land on your website it first searches for the robots.txt file on your server and if finds that follows the instruction of that file.

So its wise for SEO to create a robots.txt file and put it in the root directory of your server.
